Alastor Moody (or “Mad- Eye”) is considered the most famous auror of all time. He was a pivotal member of the order of phoenix during the first wizarding wars, and he was auror until he was forced to leave his job due to his paranoia. Even so, he continued to participate in dangerous missions until he died in one of them.
